performanceIX, Inc was founded in January 2001 by Tim Jones and Mark Jurista as an automotive based media company. Over the past six years, performanceIX has initiated two online interactive web communities and acquired one to create the largest network of BMW enthusiasts online.

The performanceIX online properties now account for over 500,000 unique visitors, 12,000,000 page views, nearly 200,000 registerd members and serves over 17,000,000 ad impressions per month!

Tim Jones is the co-founder of performanceIX and an avid automotive enthusiast. His primary responsibilities include content placement, customer service and sales. Jones graduated from Bentley College with a Bachelor of Science degreee in Computer Information Systems. Previously, Jones worked as a software engineer for Sungard BSR developing higher education alumni management software.

Name: Mark Jurista

Mark Jurista, the other co-founder of performanceIX, is also an automotive fanatic whose primary responsibilies include marketing, software development and technology management. Along with performanceIX, Jurista is also a co-founder of a software company serving in the summer camp sector that provides year-round management solutions. Jurista graduated from Bentley College with a BS in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Law.
